Who we are

Analytica Labs Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14975316. Our registered office address is shown in our Terms.

What we collect

We collect only two kinds of personal data:

• Enquiries you send us by email: your name, email address, the content of your message and anything you attach.
• Server logs kept by our hosting provider when you visit the site: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page.

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own site, and there are no embedded third-party services.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or, where you ask about our services, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To keep the website secure and working. Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the site and diagnosing problems.

We do not sell personal data, use it for marketing without asking you, or make decisions about you by automated means.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry emails: up to two years after our last contact with you, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires.
• Server logs: for a short period, in line with our hosting provider’s standard retention, after which they are deleted automatically.

Who we share it with

We use two service providers, who process personal data only on our instructions:

• Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation), our email provider. We receive, store and send enquiry emails using Zoho Mail, in its EU data centre.
• Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website and processes its server logs.

We also forward enquiry emails to a Gmail mailbox so that we can read them. Google LLC provides this mailbox under its own terms and privacy policy, and may process some data for its own purposes, as described there.

We may also share information with professional advisers, or where the law requires us to, for example with regulators or law enforcement.

International transfers

Enquiry emails are received, stored and sent using Zoho Mail, in its European Union data centre. The UK recognises the EU as providing adequate protection for personal data.

Enquiry emails are also forwarded to a Gmail mailbox provided by Google LLC, and our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes server logs. Both companies are based in the United States and may process personal data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the UK-US data bridge), the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• ask us to delete your data
• ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to how we use it
• ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation, where that applies

To use any of these rights, email info@analyticalabsltd.com. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

We will update this page if the way we handle personal data changes. The date below shows when it was last updated.
